Who I am

Riverside Medical Aesthetics, 10 Reavell Place, Ipswich, Suffolk IP2 0ET. I am the "data controller" for the information described here — meaning I decide how and why it is used.

What this website collects

Nothing that identifies you. There are no advertising pixels, no social media trackers and no embedded maps or videos. Fonts are served from my own website rather than from Google, so no third party is told that you visited.

Counting visitors

I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It is deliberately chosen because of what it does not do:

• It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device
• It does not fingerprint your browser or device
• It cannot follow you to other websites
• Your IP address is used to work out the country only, and is not stored

Everything it reports is a total, never an individual. I can see that a page was read; I cannot see that you read it.

Because nothing is stored on your device and nobody is identified, the cookie consent rules do not apply — which is why this site has no consent banner to click away.

If you use the enquiry form

I receive whatever you put in it:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, if you give one
• Which treatment you said you were interested in
• Anything you write in the message box

I use this only to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to arrange a consultation. I do not add you to a mailing list, and I never sell or share your details for marketing.

Please don't put medical details in the form. Health information needs more protection than a website contact form can offer, and I'll go through your medical history properly and privately at your consultation.

My lawful basis

For replying to your enquiry, I rely on your consent — the tick box on the form — and on my legitimate interest in responding to people who ask me questions. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing me, and I'll delete your enquiry.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to an appointment are deleted within 12 months. If you become a patient, your clinical records are kept separately under the retention rules that apply to medical records, which are far longer — that's covered by the privacy information you're given in clinic, not by this website notice.

Who else sees it

Three companies help me handle your enquiry:

• Cloudflare — hosts this website, receives the form, and provides the anonymous visitor counts
• Resend — delivers the enquiry to my inbox as an email
• Microsoft — provides the mailbox I read it in

Each of them processes your message on my behalf under a data processing agreement, and none is permitted to use it for anything else. Cloudflare and Resend store data in the United States; those transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses, the safeguard UK data protection law provides for.

Keeping it secure

The site is served over HTTPS, so anything you send is encrypted in transit. I restrict what the page is allowed to load, which limits the damage any injected code could do. I am the only person with access to enquiries sent through this site.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask me to:

• Tell you what information I hold about you, and give you a copy
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Delete it
• Stop or limit how I use it
• Provide it in a portable format
• Stop relying on consent you've since withdrawn

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If I change this notice I'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the home page.
